DevOps Engineer / System Administrator - Full Time (m/f)

TerraLoupe is a young, innovative machine learning software company based in Munich, Germany. The name “TerraLoupe” originates from “Terra” (lat. ground, terrain) and “Loupe”, the technical expression for magnifying glass. TerraLoupe analyzes aerial images with artificial intelligence.
Your tasks
As a DevOps engineer, you work on the operation and automation of our CI/CD pipeline. You keep our different Web and REST web services as well as a our cloud-based compute cluster running and automate deployment.

  • Operating REST and Web services
  • Improving CI/CD pipelines for REST services and Web applications
  • Operating and improving a distributed compute cluster on Google Cloud
  • Implementing monitoring
  • 2+ years experience operating production-grade services
  • Strong passion for DevOps principles & infrastructure as code
  • Flexible, driven & hands-on mentality
  • Very good understanding of Docker
  • Very good Git knowledge
  • Versatility in Python
  • Experience mit CI/CD platforms (e.g. CircleCI, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge in software configuration management (Ansible) and infrastructure automation (TerraForm)
  • Cloud platform experience (Google Cloud preferred, AWS)
  • Basic knowledge of cluster orchestration (e.g. Apache Mesos, Kubernetes)
  • Fluent in English (spoken/written)
  • German language skills & startup experience are a plus
